We are changing the way Canadians pay for financial advice.

Our process

Bottom half of a woman's face. She is holding a mobile phone against her left ear.

Step 1: Right fit?

Risk free, no cost, no obligation introductory call.

We'll start with a scheduled quick 15-minute introductory phone call to help us both make sure that we have the expertise for your unique situation.

If we aren't the right fit for you, we'll let you know and will point you in the direction to get the advice you need.

If we feel that we have the required expertise, we'll discuss our available plans & pricing and send you a custom link for you to take the next step whenever you are ready.  We are not pushy salespeople.

Step 2: Values & Vision

 First meeting (virtual only)

The purpose of this meeting is to learn all about your family, unique situation, goals, and accomplishments.

We will guide the conversation with open ended questions to become crystal clear on what is important to you.

We will then use your answers and the financial data you have provided about your current situation to create the discussion drafts of your plan.

Step 3: Analysis & Options

Second meeting (virtual only)

In this meeting we will share the results of our analysis and recommendations and show you your plan.  This will be a working session where your ideas will come to life inside your plan.

We will show how different prioritization of your goals will affect your outcomes by running a few 'what if' scenarios live in our meeting.  This will help you determine your best course of action.

Once you've selected your top priorities, we'll provide a plain english list of actionable advice, explaining what you can do right away to move closer toward achieving your goals.  That way you'll know exactly what to do.

Step 4: Tracking & Progress

Regular ongoing annual reviews. (virtual only)

Life happens and things change on the path to financial independence.

Experience has taught us that regular and proactive discussions with our planning clients leads to the best outcomes.  That's why we like to circle back and review your progress toward your goals on a regular basis.

Step 5: Stand by assistance

Facing a big financial or life decision?  Not sure what to do?  We are available to help.

We include the opportunity to have a quick chat with our Certified Financial Planners (CFP®) to discuss your situation and how your decision will affect your financial plan and future wealth in our affordable subscription plans.

Wouldn't you like to know if your decision has the potential for unintended consequences in the context of your financial goals and how it will affect your plan before you take action?

This 'stand by' consultation service is included in our subscription plans at no extra charge.  If you have engaged our services through our pay as you go option, we bill our time at our hourly rate based on the length of our conversation with a 15-minute minimum charge.
